Coyote Hole Craft Beverages is seeking a Director of Sales / National Account Manager to prioritize driving sales and promoting the brand. This position will report to the CEO and work closing with both the retail operations and production managers. They will manage the sales representatives across our distribution footprint to ensure all initiatives are strategic, align with the company goals and leverages to deliver ROI.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Senior Sales Leadership
- Set and represent the standard of excellence in sales, leadership, and management for the sales organization and other brewery managers
- Own and represent the Sales Department and communication of conditions, trends, analysis, action plans and needs to other managers and owners
- Act as department’s loudest advocate and toughest critic to constantly strive for nothing short of excellence
- Develop and maintain Annual Business Plan for the company and each distributor partner
- Distributor Development
- Direct distributor focus and execution as primary communicator and business manager of distributors
- Conduct monthly business reviews
- Forecast all orders by distributor partners with production manager
- Oversee orders and direct inventory management of all distributor partners
- Communicate with distributors on their goals and priorities for sales
- People Management
- Oversee development plans and professional growth for all direct reports
- Budge management of all direct reports
- Lead the primary communication of all business priorities, standards, goals, objectives, support & education materials to direct reports
- Market Development
- Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging and pricing
- Grow share of mind and market share in accounts
- Act as the “Face of the Business” with communication and interaction with distributors, retailers and consumers
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts in territory
- Develop, communicate, ensure and enforce brand standards
- Operate within all assigned budge and resource parameters. Build an align budgets and spending plans
- National Account Development
- Build, maintain and develop strong working relationships with national accounts at all necessary levels
- Create and execute all national account programming and opportunities
- Develop and deliver presentations, communicate using analytics and trend data as appropriate
Qualifications and Experience
- 4+ years of excellence in brewery, cidery, wine or distributor sales/sales management. Must have excellent working knowledge and demonstration of skills relating to distributor process, national accounts, achieving results, market analysis, inventory management, market trends, retail execution, forecasting and budgeting
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Proven ability to manage, lead and develop people
- Core competencies: business acumen, professional communication proficiency, presentation skills, results driven, strategic thinking and technical capacity
- Proven experience with analyzing data from internal to distributors
- Chain store whole experience
- Travel is required to reach outlying markets and out of state markets
- Some weekend and night work required for events and promotions
- Host weekly sales meetings
- Use Ekos Software to track all sales, calls, activities and work by sales reps
- Conduct quarterly distribution reviews analyzing sales vs. quarterly goals
- Help manage brand ambassador programs to ensure tastings are maximized to line up with Coyote Hole’s key priorities

Sales Representative
Job Type: Full Time

Location: State College, PA
Coyote Hole Craft Beverages is seeking a sales representative for the State College, PA area. This position will work closely with our wholesale partner Nittany Beverage, local chain stores and independently owned businesses to curate sales, growing our Coyote Hole's craft cider sales.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Grow sales and distribution within assigned territory
- Adhere to an aggressive call frequency (average of 50 calls per week) on key existing and new retailers in assigned territory
- Train, motivate and influence retailers and their teams on Coyote Hole brands
- Attend weekly company sales meetings
- Use internal data systems and strong analytical skills to maintain existing distribution while always looking to expand distribution with new customers
- Track all sales calls, stop ins and activities on Ekos software
- Coordinate tastings and tap take overs with retailers to develop brand awareness and engage customers
- Assist in conducting quarterly distribution reviews analyzing sales vs. quarterly goals
- Identify local sponsorships and special event opportunities
- Help manage brand ambassador programs to ensure tastings are maximized to line up with Coyote Hole’s key priorities
- Complete all required reports with timeliness and accuracy
- Track current and potential customers in our distribution software
- Work closely with wholesalers on placing orders, inventory and events
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted within Local, State and Federal laws
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-3 years of sales experience in the Beverage Industry
- Must live in the assigned territory
- Must have a car
- Technical cider knowledge preferred
- Existing craft beverage relationships (preferred)
- Energetic and motivated with existing sales skills
- Competitive with a passion for craft cider
- Ability to form relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills and experience with social media platforms
- Ability to multitask while still meeting all deadlines
- Deadline focused with attention to detail
- Independent worker with flexible work schedule
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
Salary and Benefits
This position is 100% commission to start off with and can lead to full time employment with paid leave and healt care.

Seasonal Tasting Room Associate

We are looking for someone like you to join our family owned, craft cidery that specializes in producing premium 100% Virginia grown hard cider.
We are a family owned and operated company that is just about to hit our first year in business located at Lake Anna, VA. Our summer months are crazier than ever with the influx of vacationers that visit Lake Anna and we need your help!
We are currently looking to add members to our team in our tasting room for the summer and fall seasons. This job is both easy and rewarding with the right attitude, but we have high expectations of what you’ll be expected to learn and the customer service you provide. We are looking for our newest family member to join our pack! We are a close team, with high expectations and work ethics. Come grow with us.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain sanitation in practicing good safety and sanitation. Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
- Teamwork with bartenders to maximize customer service and sales.
- Covid and regular cleanings are shared with bartenders in all areas with customers.
- Opening and closing kitchen area.
- Regularly cook apple cider donuts with our recipe.
- Dependability and accuracy are required.
Working nights and weekends is required.

Brand Ambassador

We are currently hiring Brand Ambassadors who will be the face of Coyote Hole Ciderworks at off and on site events. Our Brand Ambassadors strive to spread our fun-loving culture and premium 100% Virginia grown hard cider all while having fun and creating Coyote Hole fans along the way. All events will be located in Virginia.
We are a family owned and operated company that is just about to hit our first year in business located at Lake Anna, VA. Our footprint is quickly spreading, events attendance is increasing and we need your help!
We are currently looking to add members to our team as Brand Ambassadors on a part-time basis. This job is both easy and rewarding with the right attitude, but we have high expectations of what you’ll be expected to learn and the customer service you provide. This is a part-time job that is for the most part nights and weekends.
