Seasonal Tasting Room Associate

Job Type: Part Time & Full Time
Location: Coyote Hole Ciderworks' Lake Anna Tasting Room

Are you a craft cider geek? Do you like working in a fast paced environment, interacting with people and just talking about cider? Then we have the perfect job for you! We are looking for someone like you to join our family owned, craft cidery that specializes in producing premium 100% Virginia grown hard cider.

We are a family owned and operated company that is just about to hit our first year in business located at Lake Anna, VA. Our summer months are crazier than ever with the influx of vacationers that visit Lake Anna and we need your help!

We are currently looking to add members to our team in our tasting room for the summer and fall seasons. This job is both easy and rewarding with the right attitude, but we have high expectations of what you’ll be expected to learn and the customer service you provide. This job could lead to an expansion of duties as time passes, so come grow your careers with as we grow!

Requirements:

  • Must be 21+
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Have a passion for craft cider
  • Customer service experience in a face-to-face capacity

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting guests on a timely fashion
  • Consistently performing opening and closing procedures
  • Accurately transact POS sales through POS system
  • Serving pints, filling growlers and tastings
  • Conducting tastings and telling our story
  • Bussing / washing glasses, keeping bottled products well stocked
  • Coordinating and managing events held at the cidery
  • Social media postings
  • Changing kegs & maintaining organization of walk in cooler
  • Having a sincere desire to make every tasting experience memorable and engaging

Line / Prep Cook

Job Type: Part Time
When: Nights and Weekends
Location: Lake Anna Tasting Room

We are looking for our newest family member to join our pack! We are a close team, with high expectations and work ethics. Come grow with us.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and maintain sanitation in practicing good safety and sanitation. Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
  • Teamwork with bartenders to maximize customer service and sales.
  • Covid and regular cleanings are shared with bartenders in all areas with customers.
  • Opening and closing kitchen area.
  • Regularly cook apple cider donuts with our recipe.
  • Dependability and accuracy are required.

Working nights and weekends is required.

Delivery Driver / Merchandiser

Job Type: Full Time
When: Monday - Friday
Location: Delivering Across VA

Coyote Hole is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting our cider in a safe, timely manner. This is a full-time position and entails weekly deliveries of kegs and cases of cans to all parts of Virginia. Schedule is mainly Monday – Friday with some weekend deliveries and events, as needed. The Delivery Driver / Merchandiser will load cider from our production facility and drop off the cider to our accounts while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You will be working as part of our family run business to ensure that orders are picked, packed correctly, safely delivered to the correct account and merchandised per the accounts .

To succeed as a Delivery Driver / Merchandiser, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our accounts with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying accounts.

This job will train with the regional sales manager and has the ability to turn into a sales representative. Main responsibilities include:

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering cider to accounts or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Loading and unloading cases of cider and heavy kegs from vehicles.
  • Stocking cider on shelves at retail locations.
  • Use of sales, invoicing and delivery software.
  • Accepting payments for delivered cider.
  • Providing excellent customer service and answering questions from accounts.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Run special events, tastings and tap take overs at accounts.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state of Virginia.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.
  • Experience may be required or preferred.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly and up to 160 lbs in and out of vehicles and around.
  • Ability to learn tracking software that manages invoices, sales, and deliveries.
  • Attention to detail.

Brand Ambassador

Do you love craft cider? Do you like talking cider with anyone and everyone? Then we have the perfect job for you! We are currently hiring Brand Ambassadors who will be the face of Coyote Hole Ciderworks at off and on site events. Our Brand Ambassadors strive to spread our fun-loving culture and premium 100% Virginia grown hard cider all while having fun and creating Coyote Hole fans along the way. All events will be located in Virginia.

We are a family owned and operated company that is just about to hit our first year in business located at Lake Anna, VA. Our footprint is quickly spreading, events attendance is increasing and we need your help!

We are currently looking to add members to our team as Brand Ambassadors on a part-time basis. This job is both easy and rewarding with the right attitude, but we have high expectations of what you’ll be expected to learn and the customer service you provide. This is a part-time job that is for the most part nights and weekends.
